DosCam

Terms of Use

Effective 4 October 2026

These terms are between you and Protecq Limited (“we”), the maker of DosCam. By downloading or using DosCam you agree to them. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if anything here conflicts with it, Apple's agreement wins.

Using DosCam

You may use DosCam on Apple devices you own or control, for personal or commercial filming, as allowed by the App Store's usage rules. Please don't copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell the app.

Your videos and photos are yours

Everything you record with DosCam belongs to you. We don't receive, store or claim any rights to it. Because it stays on your iPhone, keeping it safe — for example with backups — is up to you. Deleted takes can't be recovered by us.

Record responsibly

DosCam can film the person holding the phone and the scene in front of them at the same time. You're responsible for how you use it: respect other people's privacy, get permission where the law requires it (recording someone's voice or image without consent is illegal in some places), and follow the rules of the places you film in. Don't use DosCam to break the law or to harm anyone.

Purchases and refunds

DosCam is sold through the App Store. Payment, family sharing and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; we can't process refunds directly.

Updates and availability

We may update DosCam to fix problems or add, change or remove features. What DosCam can record depends on your iPhone model and iOS version, and some features need hardware that not every iPhone has.

No warranty

We work hard to make DosCam reliable, but it's provided “as is”. We can't promise it will be free of errors or that a recording will never fail — for example if your iPhone gets too hot, runs out of storage or is interrupted by a call. For moments you can't repeat, check your setup first.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost or damaged recordings, or for indirect or consequential losses, arising from your use of DosCam. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Privacy

How DosCam handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use DosCam after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
