Agreement
These terms apply to your use of WPS Manager, published by Protecq ("we", "us"). By using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What the app does
WPS Manager helps you prepare Salary Information Files (SIF) for Qatar's Wage Protection System on your own device. It is a preparation tool only. It does not submit files to any bank or government system, and it is not affiliated with the Ministry of Labour, Qatar Central Bank or any bank.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy and completeness of the employer, employee and salary information you enter or import
- Reviewing every file before submitting it to your bank
- Complying with Qatar labour law, WPS rules and your bank's requirements
- Having the right to process your employees' personal data
- Keeping your device secure and keeping your own backups
No professional advice
The app's validation checks help catch common formatting mistakes, but they do not guarantee that a file will be accepted or that a payroll is correct or compliant. Nothing in the app is legal, financial or tax advice.
Your data
Your payroll data is stored only on your device and remains yours. We cannot access, restore or recover it, so if you delete the app or reset your data without a backup, it cannot be retrieved. See the Privacy Policy for details, including our use of Google Analytics.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose, and do not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute it except as permitted by law.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Protecq is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from rejected or incorrect payroll files, late salary payments, penalties or data loss.
Apple
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar.
Changes and contact
